    Why the emphasis on “personalized?” Because I want to be clear about what that word means to me.

    When I use “personalized,” I don’t mean the kind of mass personalization that’s become standard fare over the past few years – you know, the tactic where you send out a “personal” email to your entire list, but really, the only thing that’s personal is the name after the word “Dear.” When I use “personalized,” I mean real personalization, true individualization.
